It's been quite a long time since I've developed a crush on a literary character... But how could you not when Charlie Asher is involved? He's absolutely adorable AND has his own business!

Anyway, Moore never really says what color hair and eyes Charlie has in the book, so I just winged it.

Charles Asher is (c) to Christopher Moore, who is a brilliant, brilliant man. The book is "A Dirty Job" and everyone should read it.

Oh hooray! :D Isn't the book just brilliant? I swear, I want to read it a million more times, just so I can soak in every single brilliant word. Christopher Moore is a genius-creature.

I'm beyond thrilled that you like my interpretation of Asher! :D I really want to draw Ray and Lily next.

I pictured him a bit older, but if I was all *crushy-crushy* on him, he'd probably have been alot younger and sexier looking in my head too :P...

I sincerely wish i had that shirt and tie...

Heh, I never imagined I'd see Christopher Moore fanart! I read the book a few months ago and don't remember it well ... but if I ever reread it this will forever be the picture of Charlie Asher I have in my brain. :D
